How effective is your
program? See what our clients and families have to say about
the
efficacy
of the Burning Tree program.
What is it that
makes Burning Tree different from other
facilities?
Our founding value and one that remains to this day is to
provide excellent long term care at the most economical rate
possible. We specialize in treating the relapsing adult, and we
expect a very high degree of accountability in every area of our
client’s lives. The length of time as well as the high quality
of our facilities and program at a very reasonable rate
separates us from other treatment facilities. However, it is the
opportunity to learn and practice 12-step principles that allows
our clients to create a life of excellence beyond sobriety.
Does Burning Tree treat dual diagnosis?
Yes, Burning Tree takes an integrated treatment
approach to dual diagnosis, rather than sequential treatment of
chemical dependency and other disorders.
Why long term
treatment? We work with
clients with whom 30-day treatment has not worked. With the longer
length of stay we have enough time to create habits and
lifestyles that are conducive to long term recovery.
What does the
program consist of?
Life-skills, 12 Step & Spiritual Guidance, chemical dependency
counseling, nutritional and physical activity counseling,
innovative family programs, group & individual therapy.
What are the
qualifications of your counselors?
All of our counselors are licensed chemical dependency
counselors.
How are psychiatric
needs handled? We are
fortunate to have two respected psychiatrists, who are also experts
in working with addictions, on staff.
Your
psychiatrist will meet with you upon admission and as needed for
medication management, psychotherapy, or further consultation.
Do you have a
medical staff? We do not,
but we use a clinic and a hospital close by for general medical
needs.
We have a psychiatrist as part of your treatment team.
How is contact with
family done?
Family contact and visitation is a privilege that most residents
earn during their first three months of treatment. Like all
aspects of the program, visits are available based on progress
in treatment and are therefore entirely up to the resident.
Are
you coed?
Yes.
What is the cost for treatment?
$7500.00 per month, plus a $3000.00 medical deposit.
Do you take
insurance? We are private
pay and do not take insurance.
What is the length
of stay? Length of stay is
determined by the client’s progress in treatment.
We have a relapse prevention curriculum with milestone
criteria. Clients are evaluated in terms of their successful
completion of the curriculum. A few clients require treatment
beyond 12 months and in that case they are not charged for any
time after 12 months.
