Laura Nesmith Richardson Renews Life Path
Dallas, TX September 15, 2011 - Burning Tree
As some of you may know, late last year Laura Nesmith married Tyler Richardson and became a wife and mother to his three beautiful children: Rylee, Mason and Colin. With this new life change, Laura moved from California to Colorado and continued to work for Burning Tree, but with these changes a new life purpose emerged.
On September 6th, after 4 years of employment, Laura, who has served as Assistant Director of Marketing, announced her resignation from Burning Tree to focus on her new role as wife and mother. “I always said it was a God thing to get the job at Burning Tree,” Laura comments, “I was able to do what I love, work for an organization that has purpose and help chronic relapsers break the cycle of addiction.” Now with her new family, her purpose has evolved. “Helping alcoholics out of the depths of this disease will always be a top priority, but now I want to make sure that I put all I can into being a great wife and an even better mother,” Laura adds.
While we will miss Laura, and are extremely appreciative for everything she has given our company these past four years, we also know this next phase of her life will bring her great joy, and we are 100% supportive of her decision. Her last day will be October 6th, 2011. She will still be attending the Foundations Conference in Florida at the end of this month and will be available at 520-360-7993 until her last day. After this time, and until a successor is chosen, any marketing-related questions should be directed to Curt Maddon, CEO on 214-215-1525.
Laura finishes with, “Burning Tree will always be my number one place to refer chronic relapse clients. I always have believed in the work we do, and I will continue to believe in Burning Tree after my departure. Burning Tree has a gift of helping the most difficult clients find the freedom of recovery, one day at a time.”
We wish Laura the best as she moves on. Please join us in sending her off well at the Foundations Conference!
